Every summer, the Friends of Quiet Waters Park organize a wonderful concert series at Annapolis most appealing outdoor venue, and 2017 promises to be the best schedule yet. Held every Saturday over two months until the closing performance, this Annual Summer Outdoor Concert Series will open on July 8 and climax on Sunday, September 3.
Quiet Waters Park is located at 600 Quiet Waters Park Road in Annapolis. Admission to the park is free during the nights of the concerts. Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. However, non-alcoholic drinks and food will be available for sale. Be sure to visit the Friends Table for bubbles, temporary tattoos and other fun items at low cost for kids. Raffle tickets will be sold for prizes, and all proceeds will benefit the Friends of Quiet Waters Park and their efforts.

July 8, 2017 – Fractal Cat
This Baltimore band “emphasizes classic songwriting, a strong vocal presence, and a multilayered psychedelic sound.”
July 15, 2017 – Sweet Leda
Led by Julie Cymek, who delivers “sultry, commanding vocals and electrifying stage presence”, Sweet Leda performs a “rich blend of new school funk, psychedelic rock, soul and pop.”
July 22, 2017 – Georgia Lee & Stone Cold Country
They’ve been entertaining fans with great country music since 1999. Their compelling stage presence driven by outstanding female lead vocals allows them to open for bands like Toby Keith and Rascal Flatts.
July 29, 2017 – Great Train Robbery
For 35 years GTR has wowed audiences with a classic smokey Southern sound. Based in Baltimore, the band has released 8 albums and has shared stages with The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foghat, Blue Oyster Cult, .38 Special, Marshall Tucker, BTO, and Blackfoot.
August 5, 2017 – Kelly Bell Band
Voted as the best blues band for 12 years running, this group mixes elements of hip-hop, funk, and blues, expanding the genre.
