Historic Inn, Lodging, HotelTravel to Annapolis and sweeten the first holiday weekend of December at Chocolate Binge Festival 2017. Scheduled for Sunday, December 3, 2017, this unique event will be a celebration of chocolate in America’s Sailing Capital. Aside from great chocolate, there will be family entertainment, holiday shopping, and the expanded West Street Light Canopy, where voracious chocoholics can get properly supplied for the holiday season.

Family Fun & Charity

Organized by the Inner West Street Association and the Annapolis Arts District, the Chocolate Binge Festival will return for its third year to ring in the holiday season with the sweetest street festival in the USA. Adult admission is just $5, the suggested donation, and children are free. Those who donate will be thanked with a complimentary hot chocolate. Proceeds will benefit the Annapolis Arts District and We Care and Friends.

Family friendly, the festival will be fun for all. Children can do moon bounces in a gigantic gingerbread house. A fire pit on West Street will let the family roast marshmallows as they listen to live music. On patrol will be Sparky of the Annapolis Fire Department and McGruff, The Crime Fighting Dog. Lady Godiva, who represents fine chocolate globally, will be available for selfies. Santa Claus will also collect toys and clothing for the We Care and Friends Holiday Party for local homeless and needy children.

Holiday Shopping

Visitors who want to finish off Christmas shopping in one day can do so at the festival’s marketplace. Craftspeople from the Chesapeake region will offer jewelry, pottery, candles, carved wood, glass blowing, and other handiwork. The Annapolis Arts District is also full of shops and galleries if you need more presents.
