Formerly known as Annapolis Ghost Tours, Annapolis Tours & Crawls offers what many believe to be the best in the city’s evening entertainment since 2002. Their events range from the family-friendly Walking Ghost Tour to the adults-only Pub Crawls, so they cater to all ages after dark. The Walking Ghost Tour has two versions available. One is PG-rated and starts at 7 p.m. The other is R-rated and starts at 9 p.m. The Walking Ghost Tour has been repeatedly rated as being one of the top five ghost tours in the USA.

Tour Highlights

The Walking Ghost Tour is a 90-minute walking tour passing through the city’s historic downtown district. The organizers describe it as “a spine-tingling journey into Annapolis’ dark and troubled history”. The also say you may meet a ghost while stopping at one of several haunted spots and end up sleeping with one eye open that night. Below are the spectral cast of characters that may introduce themselves to you.

  • Amy, the “Working Girl” – Screaming, she fell to her death, but how and why? Is she fated to haunt the Rams Head Tavern for eternity?
  • Headless Man – Fought with a sword and lost his head, but what was the quarrel about?
  • Joe Morgue – A passionate grave digger who dug his job for 50 years, but is he still hard at work?
  • Thomas Dance – Found with his skull crushed and body broken, but how did he die?
