An impressive lineup of polished musical artists has been gathered by Founding Partner, Boatyard Bar & Grill, and Title Sponsor, Annapolis Subaru.

The Boatyard Beach Bash (BBB) raises more than $80,000 annually for the AMM. The museum’s primary mission is the education of children and adults regarding the rich maritime heritage of Annapolis and the region and Chesapeake Bay ecology. Their modern Education Center features more than 15,000 hours of interactive educational programs.

History

BBB founder and Boatyard Bar & Grill owner Dick Franyo sits on the Board of the A passionate Jimmy Buffet fan, also known as a Parrothead, Franyo created an entertainment, lifestyle, and escapism venue at the Boatyard that was inspired by the musician. He subsequently had a vision of a Jimmy Buffett & Parrothead themed fundraiser that materialized as the Boatyard Beach Bash. After only three years, the event expanded beyond Boatyard’s parking lot by moving to the Annapolis Maritime Museum’s newly renovated Eastport waterfront facility. This made it possible for the BBB stage’s rear area to overlook the waters of Chesapeake Bay.

Music

Highlighting 2017’s entertainment is the Coral Reefer Band, made up of Peter Mayer, Brendan Mayer, Keith Sykes, and Doyle Grisham. Also playing are world-famous musicians, John Frinzi, Scott Kirby, Aaron Scherz, and John Patty. Their performances will be special because they will be playing on the shorefront location of the Annapolis Maritime Museum, where there is a breathtaking view of the Chesapeake Bay.

Tickets

The general admission ticket is a bargain at $75.00 as attendees over 21 will be provided two drink vouchers and an invitation to a delicious grilled buffet dinner prepared by the Boatyard Bar & Grill. A Very Important Parrothead (VIP) ticket costing $125 will admit you to an exclusive reception, where you can meet the Coral Reefer Band while enjoying hors d’oeuvres prepared by Annapolis’ top caterers and downing Painkiller cocktails.
