Historic Inn, LodgingPresented by Annapolis Maritime Museum (AMM), the Tides & Tunes concert series showcases live music every Thursday night at 7 p.m. The bands will be an eclectic mix of jazz, folk and rock and all shows will encourage dancing on the shore.

Bringing Annapolis Together

Tides & Tunes was organized by the AMM as a way to foster feelings of community in Annapolis and raise awareness among local residents regarding the activities and programs sponsored by the museum. Both locals and visitors are welcome to spend a musical evening under the stars. All will be able to enjoy the music while gazing at a gorgeous view of the Chesapeake Bay.

AMM’s Educational Purpose

The Education Center of the Annapolis Maritime Museum provides teaching programs about Chesapeake Bay ecology to more than 6,000 students annually. The children are also taught lessons covering Annapolis’ wealth of maritime heritage and history.

Food, wine, mixed drinks, and beer may be purchased at the event. The funds raised from sales supports AMM’s environmental programs at its Education Center. Alcohol purchased outside the grounds and coolers is prohibited. For seating during the outdoor concerts, the museum recommends that guests bring lawn chairs or blankets.
