The movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding was a smash hit, and so is the Annapolis Greek Festival. Don’t miss your chance to personally experience Kefi, a feeling of ecstasy while dancing that forces you to shout, “Opa!”
Annapolis’ Greek Orthodox Community has celebrated their culture and traditions with their neighbors for many years. Come to Maryland’s beautiful capital on the Chesapeake Bay to attend the Annapolis Greek Festival, an annual event featuring music, dance, food, and wine held from Thursday May 31 to Sunday, June 3, 2018.
Music and Dancing
Accompanied by the entrancing bouzouki and other traditional musical instruments, Greek dances performed by the community’s Children’s and Adult Dance Troupes will provide wonderful entertainment to people of all ages.
The aroma of oregano and garlic, enhanced by hints of cinnamon and coffee, will transport you to a romantic era. Traditional Greek food as listed below will be served and sold at the festival.
