Historic Inn, Lodging in AnnapolisThe Homestead Gardens’ 2017 Fall Festival will be the place to harvest some fun as the seasons change. Located on a sprawling 30 acres, Homestead Gardens is the perfect location for an autumn festival of family fun. There will be 15 rides and attractions, along with gardening demonstrations, food, beverages, and entertainment.

As in past years, festival highlights will again be Homestead’s world-famous apple cider doughnuts, the Corn and Straw Mazes, Pumpkin Bowling, Plinko, Pony Rides, Pony Rides, Homestead BBQ, Pumpkin Express, Hay Rides, the Jumping Pillow, Pipe Slide, Chick’n Pick’n, Pumpkin Painting, Corn Cannon, Homestead Barnyard, and Live Entertainment.

History of Homestead Gardens

Nestled within the pastoral and hilly countryside of Davidsonville, Maryland, Homestead’s original facility has staked its claim as “the largest enclosed garden center in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. metropolitan areas.” Founded in 1973 by Don Riddle, Jr., Homestead’s nursery also boasts “the area’s largest selection of annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs.”

Fall Festival Packages

The pricing for Fall Festival packages will be determined in August. The prices for the two packages below were respectively $5 and $17.50 per person in 2016. Children 3 and under were admitted free.

Fall Fest Pass

This is the basic entry pass. You can enjoy live entertainment, gardening, the hay maze, demonstrations, and hay rides. Recommended for adults and young children who do not plan to go on larger rides and attractions.

Fall Fest ‘Fun’ Package

Best for children, the Fun Package wristband provides unlimited access to the Corn Maze, Corn Cannon, Jumping Pillow, Pumpkin Express, and other fun features. Also included are a token for one pony ride and 4 complimentary tickets for the Midway.
