The region’s most renowned performing arts venue, Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts (MHCA) provides a wonderful variety of arts-related programming for people of all ages. Annapolis Symphony Orchestra with Jon Nakamatsu, piano
Presented by Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, American classical pianist, Jon Nakamatsu, will perform three concert pieces on piano. He is a Van Cliburn International Piano Competition Gold Medalist.
Nakamatsu’s performance will include Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito Overture
Rachmaninov’s Concerto for Piano No. 2, and Brahms’s Symphony No. 1

The Second City: Look Both Ways Before Talking
Celebrating almost six decades of edgy humor, The Second City troupe will perform their newest sketch comedy and improv revue, Look Both Ways Before Talking.

ASO’s Family Concert: Annapolis Symphony Orchestra and Magic Circle Mime Co. perform Peter and the Wolf
Magic Circle Mime Company will perform their family-friendly production of Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf. Their performances are world-renowned, combining full orchestra with visual theater.

Presented by Rams Head, Michael McDonald of The Doobie Brothers will perform songs spanning a career that includes five Grammys and many hits. Featuring his first original material in 17 years, McDonald’s upcoming album, Wide Open, is a unique collaboration with musicians Warren Haynes, Robben Ford, Marcus Miller and Branford Marsalis.
