Maryland has many wine festivals throughout the year throughout the state.  Annapolis has its popular Art, Craft and Wine Festival coming up on June 4th and 5th at the Navy and Marine stadium, featuring over 200 local crafts and 25 of Annapolis’ favorite wineries on hand for wine tasting.

Maryland has a law in place that allows wineries to ship wine by mail, as long as the winery has a direct shipper’s permit from the state. They are allowed to ship up to 18 cases of wine per household  annually. So if you’re visiting Maryland and fall in love with one of their exclusive wines, you can enjoy it throughout the year back in your own home town!

Many Maryland wineries are popular spots for a wedding or special party. Check with you favorite winery to see if that is an option before planning your next special event.
